Pianist Nathaniel LaNasa has chosen to inaugurate the UUCSR Chamber Music Series by visiting the life and times of Amy Marcy Cheney Beach, the first American woman to gain acceptance as a composer of music on a grand scale. Join Sarah Moulton Faux, and UUCSR's orchestra concertmaster Stani Dimitrova on February 8 to hear Beach’s landmark Quintet for piano and strings, a selection of her songs for voice and piano, and piano pieces by Beach and composers in her circles.
